About Us
Where it started
The Empower 2 Stay Foundation was founded in 2024 to bridge the gap between the challenges of cancer treatment and the support needed to overcome them. We were inspired by the strength of cancer patients and a commitment to provide practical, life-changing support.
Our work is guided by the belief that every patient deserves dignity, compassion, and support as they navigate their treatment journey. We secure and fund essential services—like transportation, childcare, grocery assistance, and hair preservation treatments—to alleviate emotional, physical, and financial stress for individuals currently undergoing treatment in Northern Indiana and surrounding communities.

From Our CEO/Founder
“My passion and dedication to the fight against all types of cancer began in July of 2020 when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was at that time that I realized the profound impact treatment has on a person. Due to the fatiguing nature of chemotherapy and radiation, as well as the physical limitations after surgery, I recognized that even the simplest tasks in life became stressors—like raising my hands or cleaning the house.” – Allen Schilb
